"Some members have opined that we should pull out. Now we will hold talks with members interested in taking over the management," said Karmacharya.
The management group will be responsible for all football activities including players´ selection and appointment of coach and will be paid a certain amount by the club. Besides, the new management will sign sponsorship deals, receive funds from ANFA and match proceeds.
"We will take another decision next year" said Karmacharya, "The club will also get time for other social activities after the management handover."
However, Sunil Kapali, former president of the club, claimed that former vice-president Anil Shrestha has been given the management responsibility of the club along with Rs 2 million. "Machhindra Football Club (MFC) will be formed under Machhindra Club and MFC will be responsible for all football activities," said Kapali.
