The protestors carried placards that read, ‘Let's oppose the parking ban by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City without any alternative’.

According to the metropolis, parking is prohibited on the roads around Dharmapath, Juddha Salik to Indrachowk, Khichapokhari, Mahabuddha and Bir Hospital.

KMC has made arrangements for a free parking facility at Kathmandu Tower where 300 four-wheelers and 700 two-wheelers can be parked at a time.
