Addressing a programme marking the fifth anniversary of the Ganatantra, a national daily published from Dang, in Ghorahi on Saturday, former minister and CPN (UML) leader Bista said the current load-shedding hours could be reduced by half if the rampant electricity theft could be checked and the diesel plants with big industries fully utilized. He said he also submitted a 91 pages long report to the government on alleviating the energy crisis but the government was not serious about that.
