Lissanevitch blanked Bipin Thapa 4-0 while Gauchan edged Eagle Sigarsan 4-3 in the semifinals of the tournament organized by the Man-Jayakar Tennis Academy. Similarly in the girls’ section of the same age group, Sakshi Gurung beat Karma Gurung 4-1 and Janvi Nahata blanked Pratistha Shrestha 4-0 to enter final.
Meanwhile, Sagun Thapa and Pabitra Gurung entered the U-16 girls’ singles final defeating Mina Gurung 6-1, 7-5 and Srijana Karki 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 respectively.
Likewise, Milan Rokka and Diwakar Ojha entered the U-14 boys’ final defeating Achal Thapa and Ananda Gauchan 7-5, 6-7, 6-4 in a tight match where they will face Sonam Funchuk and Siddhartha Moktan who hammered the pair of Subi Shrestha and Bibek Thapa 6-1, 6-0.
Niraj Wagle defeated David Tako 6-1, 6-3, Ayush Khatri beat Brahmanda Moktan 4-6, 6-1, 7-6, Milan Rokka downed Subir Shrestha 6-3, 6-0 and Achal Thapa thrashed Darshan Chalise 6-1, 6-1 to enter the quarterfinals of the U-14 boys’ singles. Similarly, Sandesh Singh Rathour beat Nil Pandey 6-2, 6-1, Prajjwal Kayastha hammered Binod Gauchan 6-1, 6-0, Bibek Gauchan downed Abhishek Bastola 6-3, 6-3 and Diwakar Ojha ousted Divya Chalise 6-1, 6-1 to enter the quarterfinals of the same category.
