KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Lawmakers on Tuesday drew the attention of the government on various matters of public concern.
Speaking at the zero hours of the National Assembly, lawmaker Anita Devkota expressed concern over the growing incidents of murder and violence. "I urge the government to maintain law and order," she said.

Lawmaker Kabita Bogati demanded the government to implement air service agreement signed between Humla District Administration Office and Nepal Airlines to conduct direct flight to the district.
Lawmaker Khim Kumar Bishwakarma expressed concern over the ruling of the Supreme Court regarding the Ncell tax assessment.
"The state has suffered a loss of billions due to the apex court ruling. Therefore, I urge the government to come up with its opinion regarding the same," he said.
Likewise, parliamentarian Chakraprasad Snehi demanded the government to take action against those who are involved in defaming political party leaders and President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
