KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Sunil Sharma has announced that he will go on hunger strike unless Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal apologizes and Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha resigns over his arrest.
Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, Sharma announced that he would go on a fast unto death unless the Home Minister Shrestha resigns and the PM Dahal apologizes.

He said, “It is the current Home Minister Shrestha who made me look like a terrorist and arrested me. He must resign unconditionally. Through the Speaker of parliament, I would like to reiterate that if the Home Minister does not resign and the Prime Minister does not apologize, I will go on a hunger strike.”
