PALPA, May 14(RSS): A section of the Siddhartha Highway has been blocked by a landslide at Tinau Rural Municipality-3 in Palpa in the wee hours today.

Chief of the District Traffic Police Office, Palpa Prabin Acharya confirmed the highway closure following the landslip triggered by the incessant rains since the night at around 2:00 am, leaving a large score of passengers stranded midway.
Big rocks brought down by the landslide have posed a challenge to clear the highway, he added. Attempts are underway to remove the debris since the morning, he said. RSS
