KATHMANDU, Feb 5: Landless people in eastern Nepal have postponed for six days their second round of protest that was to begin Thursday, Kantipur FM said. They are demanding representation in the High-level Land Reforms Commission among other things. They said they postponed new protests after receiving assurance from the government that their demands will be discussed. Basti Basobas Samrakshyan Samaj, a representative body of the landless, had shut the Sunsari and Koshi sections of East-West Highway for two days this week.
