Land revenue offices working through online system
Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Aryal said that the online system would incorporate around 75 percent of land transaction across the country adding that it would ensure speedy, prompt and quality service in the field of land administration.
With the beginning of the service, the details of the landowners would be registered in the online system. Likewise, fingerprints of both the buyers and sellers and their photos are updated in the computer system. Such intervention is expected to reduce the physical presence of the service buyers and service providers, and the landowners would be secured from the possible threat of frauds.
According to the Ministry’s secretary Gopinath Mainali, the system would be expanded in all 131 offices of the land revenue across the country to end the ill-practices reported in the land administration.
