Kumari Bank launches QR payment for traffic fees and fines

KATHMANDU, April 30: Kumari Bank Ltd has started the digital service of paying fees and fines for violating traffic rules in collaboration with Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD), Ramshahpath. People can now easily pay fines for violating traffic rules through QR code.

KATHMANDU, April 30: Kumari Bank Ltd has started the digital service of paying fees and fines for violating traffic rules in collaboration with Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD), Ramshahpath. People can now easily pay fines for violating traffic rules through QR code. 


The service,  ‘QR Scan Pay Fine and Withheld Document, was jointly inaugurated by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Umesh Raj Joshi and the bank's Digital Section Chief Anil Tamrakar at an inauguration function held at the MTPD Office in Ramshahpath on Thursday.

Speaking at the program, SSP Joshi said that the launch of this digital system will help to successfully implement the government’s action plan to digitize administration related to home affairs.  He expressed confidence that the service will make people’s lives as well as revenue collection easier.
