BIRATNAGAR, Sept 30: The Koshi Province government has announced that it will host its first-ever investment summit from January 24 to 26, next year. The decision was confirmed during a Cabinet meeting, which approved the concept and set the official dates for the event.
The summit aims to foster a favorable investment climate in the province and promote Koshi as a key industrial destination. The provincial government has allocated a budget of around Rs 300 million to organize the summit, which will be coordinated by the Koshi Province Investment Authority.

Investors from Nepal, India, and other countries will be invited to the summit. The Koshi government is also preparing to amend local policies and laws to attract investments in key sectors and improve coordination between federal and local levels.
Mohan Subedi, the economic adviser to the Chief Minister, said that the summit will focus on engaging the private sector through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to accelerate the province's development.
