KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is going to digitize 35 types of recommendations.
Chief Administrative Officer Basanta Adhikari said that out of 88 types of services provided by the ward level of the metropolitan city, 35 types of recommendation services will be provided through digital means.
So far, KMC has digitized the details of 20 types of services. According to the metropolis, other services will be added based on the suggestions received after these services are put into operation.
KMC issues 42,856 electronic recommendations
Adhikari said that electronic services are going to be expanded with the aim of providing pen-less (pen-operated services) and services in the hands of citizens. For service delivery, KMC has also started the orientation of ward chairpersons. The orientation of ward secretaries has already been conducted.
