RSP seeks explanation from General Secretary Dhakal
The mayor's personal secretary, Bhupadev Shah, stated that Koirala has been directed to submit an explanation within seven days, effective from last Friday. Koirala had granted permission to Ratna Rajya School in Baneshwar to conduct Plus Two classes, citing a decision by the KMC Metropolis Education Committee.
However, it was revealed during metropolis’ monitoring that Grade 11 classes were being conducted without the committee's decision. Following a complaint, Koirala was instructed to justify how he had granted permission without the committee's approval.
Ratna Rajya School had received permission to run the science stream in 'Plus Two'. While Koirala claimed this decision was based on the Metropolitan Education Committee's decision, it was found that no such decision had been made by the committee. In response to this, Koirala has been given a week to present his justification. After receiving permission from Koirala, Ratna Rajya School commenced teaching with 22 students enrolled in Plus Two.
