KATHMANDU, Nov 27: Nepal teen cricket sensation Sandeep Lamichhane kept his brilliant wicket taking form going as he took two wickets for Kerala Knights against Rajputs in the T10 league at Sharjah on Sunday.
The game was affected by the rain, and the teams shared a point. Lamichhane claimed two wickets taking his tournament tally to 6 to be the joint-highest alongside Sindhis’ Pravin Tambe. He bowled two overs conceding 23 runs with an economy of 11.5. In the game, Knights won the toss, elected to field first, before the game was washed away due to rain with Rajputs hitting 94/5 in nine overs.

Laurie Evans hit the highest unbeaten 38 runs off 19 balls with two sixes and two fours for Rajputs, while he was supported by captain Brendon McCullum and Rilee Rossoum who scored 21 runs each. McCullum faced 12 balls hitting two sixes and a four, while Rossoum faced 11 balls striking a six and two fours.
All other batsmen failed to reach the double figures for Rajputs. Apart from Lamichhane, Fabian Allen picked up two wickets for Knights giving away 17 runs in two overs, while
Mohammad Naveed pocketed a wicket giving away 27 runs in two overs.
