Kathmandu Valley’s air quality index records improvement on Thursday, cleanest AQI docks at 48.22 μg/m³

KATHMANDU, Feb 4:  The Kathmandu Valley on Thursday reported improvement in the air quality index (AQI) owing to the general strike enforced by the Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

KATHMANDU, Feb 4:  The Kathmandu Valley on Thursday reported improvement in the air quality index (AQI) owing to the general strike enforced by the Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP). 


As most vehicles stayed off the road in Kathmandu Valley due to the obstruction posed by the agitating group, the capital city witnessed the cleanest air 3 and 4 PM as the AQI docked at 48.22 μg/m³.
