The first-look poster of the upcoming Nepali horror feature film 'Kathaputali' was released by the makers. The film is due for release by the end of 2019.

According to Sampada Malla, the writer and executive producer of Kathaputali, "The story revolves around a fantasy kingdom where the rulers are tyrant dictators, who sexually assault innocent women for pleasure and kill them. These dead women in turn create an interesting plot for revenge against their perpetrators, resulting into terrifying horror elements."
