Kalmochan Temple decorated with white butterflies

KATHMANDU, April 6: Thousands of paper butterflies have been pasted on the walls at the premises of the Tripureshwor-based Kalmochan Temple in memory of over 9,000 persons killed in earthquake last year.

Even a year after the devastating earthquake, restorations works at the temple is yet to start.

“Some 9,000 white butterflies were glued on walls of the temple premises in memory of people killed in the 2015 earthquake,” said campaigner Milan Rai.

Earlier, the organization had conducted different campaigns for the earthquake victims.
