The single bench of Ghimire had ordered Sandeep to be sent to jail for pre-trial detention on November 05.
However, his order was quashed by the Patan High Court. Sandeep was released from prison after Ghimire's order was revoked.
The Supreme Court also upheld the higher court’s order that Lamichhanne should not be detained pending trial and also ordered the removal of the ban on going abroad.
A case has been registered in the district court demanding 10 to 12 years imprisonment for Lamichhane.
