KATHMANDU, April 25: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has released its manifesto for the upcoming local-level election scheduled on May 13.
At an event held in Kathmandu on Sunday, JSP Federal Council Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, Executive Committee Chairman Upendra Yadav and senior leader Ashok Rai jointly unveiled the party’s manifesto.

The party has expressed its commitment to construct a ring road in all municipalities on the basis of need and conduct a feasibility study to start municipal railway service in all the municipalities. JSP has also announced plans to build a bus park in all the municipalities.
The party has also committed to provide drinking water facilities to households that do not have access to safe drinking water. The declaration states, "A grant of Rs. 10,000 will be given to the households which do not have access to modern toilet facilities."
