KATHMANDU, July 8: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accepted the resignations of three ministers from the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), led by Ashok Rai. Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Yadav, Minister for Forests and Environment Minister Nawal Kishor Shah, and Minister of State for Health Hasina Khan had submitted their resignations on July 5. The prime minister has now taken over the responsibilities of these ministries himself.


Earlier, Prime Minister Dahal had also accepted the resignations of eight ministers from the CPN-UML, taking the responsibilities of those ministries as well.

As a result, PM Dahal's government now only includes ministers from the CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and CPN (Unified Socialist).
