Journos receive death threat to stop writing on Lokman

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Journalists have been threatened to discontinue writing news on suspended Chief Commissioner at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki.

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Journalists have been threatened to discontinue writing news on suspended Chief Commissioner at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki.


Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) said that editor of Rajdhani Daily, Rajan Sharma, News Editor Ganesh Basnet and Senior Correspondent Tapendra Karki received death threats from an unidentified person.

The umbrella organization of Nepali journalists said that its serious attention has been drawn toward the death threats calling to stop writing negative news against Lokman.


FNJ has demanded immediate action against the culprit.
