BIRATNAGAR, May 10: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Sunday staged a sit-in at the office of Chief District Officer (CDO), Morang, alleging that the local administration did not pay any heed to ensure journalists´ security even as 13 incidents of attacks on journalists were recorded in the district since mid-May last year.

The sit-in affected regular works of CDO Shashi Shekhar Shrestha.

Biratnagar-based journalists started a series of protest after member of FNJ, Morang, Dhruva Rijal was attacked by a group of smugglers recently.
