Journalists rally for constitution

KATHMANDU, May 24: KATHMANDU, May 24: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Tuesday organized programs across the country demanding peace, consensus and constitution.



In Kathmandu, the central committee organized a protest rally. Urging parties and leaders to fulfill their commitments to citizens, FNJ members, including those from corporate and associate members, participated in the rally.[break]



President Shiva Gaunle and former president Bishnu Nisthuri addressed the gathering converged after the rally.



FNJ also collected signatures of the journalists which will be submitted to the the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly Subhas Chandra Nembang.



District chapters of FNJ also organized various programs and collected signatures that will be submitted to Nembang through the Chief District Officer, the FNJ secretariat said.
