KATHMANDU, Oct 2: Former Crown Princess Himani Shah has said that it is time to think about how to move the nation forward.
Addressing a program organized to distribute relief to flood victims in Nawalparasi on Friday, Shah said that it was time for everyone to think for the development of the country.
Stating that young people and women need to explore new ways to alleviate poverty, Shah said that the problems faced by farmers in the agricultural sector should be addressed. She also said that the tendency of talented youths to go abroad to settle there should be stopped.
“The nation should be enriched by learning from the past, living in the present and reforming with the vision of a common future. Only when we serve the country, the country will take care of us and we should keep striving for building a developed nation,” Shah said.
