A special bench of Justices Kalyan Shrestha, Sushila Karki and Girish Chandra Lal issued the verdict in response to writ petition filed by three persons including former lawmaker Raghav Bir Joshi.[break]
The verdict has directed the government to make necessary amendments on Motor Vehicles and Transport Management Act, 1993 including other physical and managerial aspects within one year and pave the way for people with hearing impairment to receive driving license.
