The college, located at Kamal Pokhari, is affiliated with Islington University of the United Kingdom and is a direct partner of London Metropolitan University (LondonMet). Dr Vince Hagi Da Bendi Bloise of LondonMet presented the certificates to the graduates.Stating that the university is ranked among the reputed universities of London, Islington's Chairman and Executive Director Sulav Budathoki claimed that most of the students who graduated from the college have achieved high-ranking positions in Nepal and abroad.
Islington College has been providing ICT computing, networking and IT security and multimedia technology courses within its BBA program. Similarly, the college offers international business, marketing and finance under its BBA program.
Around 1,000 students have already completed their BIT and BBA programs, according to the college. At present, around 1,200 students are undertaking A Levels, BBA and BIT programs in the college.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Hagi, said, "The achievements made by Nepalese students in world IT sector are highly praiseworthy. The college has been playing a important role in uplifting IT and management sectors of Nepal."
