KATHMANDU, Dec 7: The Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has recorded 33 cases of the violation of election code.
As per the report INSEC prepared, political parties in the forefront to violate code of conduct in recently held by-election. Among the violations, 15 were committed by political parties, five by people's representatives, five by election office, one by local level and seven by others, the report added.

The incidents of violation were attack, use of children, feasting, and explosion. "Although Election Commission was given authority to take action against those violating the election code, the Commission remained feeble to take action," the report said, suggesting the Commission taking action to the violators and reducing publicity expense.
The political parties too must abide by the code that publicity campaign are not allowed in school, the INSEC reminded.
