A meeting of the ward chairs of KMC held Wednesday took this decision as the tourists coming to visit religious, historical and archaeological heritages and the and pedestrians have suffered heavily due to mobility of the four-wheel vehicles in the inner sides of the town, Chair of Ward No. 25 Nilkaji Shakya said.

According to Shakya, the vehicles would be banned in the inner areas of Ward No. 25, 17 and 27.

The four-wheels would be banned in and around Indrachowk, Makhan, Nardevi and Kilagal, and other better options would be identified, it is said.

However, the four wheels could move on the routes in the areas from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. RSS
