KATHMANDU, June 19: The infrastructure ambulance brought into operation by Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) a few weeks ago will now be operated only in the morning and evening.
The decision was made amid complaints that there was a problem in traffic management because of the maintenance works carried out in the afternoon. The infrastructure ambulance is being used to fill potholes.

Earlier, two garbage trucks were turned into infrastructure ambulances after getting them painted. A team of six including engineers and workers are working together to fill potholes as reported by locals.
According to Ram Thapa, Chief of the Physical Infrastructure Division of the CPN (Maoist), the team immediately visits the site after receiving complaints of damaged and broken roads, sewers, bricks and blocks. So far, most complaints have been received from Dallu, New Baneshwor, Buddhanagar and Baluwatar areas.
