India's youngest Everest summitteer aims more

KATHMANDU, March 3: India´s youngest Everest summitteer Krushnaa Patil (20) has a plan to write a book to share her experiences about her summit on Mt Everest.



Wrapping her two-day Nepal visit, Patil disclosed her plans of climbing the highest peaks in all continents. She had reached the summit of Mt Everest in May, 2009.



After completing adventure course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineer in 2005, Patil climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa, Aconcagua in South America and the Vinson Massif in Antarctica.



During her stay in Nepal, she met with a number of young Nepali mountaineers. Praising Nepali hospitality, Patil said future of Nepali tourism sector is very bright.



Honoring the young lady´s courage and determination, Today´s Youth Asia, a monthly publication, awarded Patil with ´Young Achievers Award 2010´ on Wednesday.
