Indian PM Modi pays a call on Veep Pun

KATHMANDU, May 11: Visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid a call on Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun. Prime Minister Modi visited Vice President Pun at the Vice Presidential Office in Jamal.

KATHMANDU, May 11: Visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid a call on Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun. Prime Minister Modi visited Vice President Pun at the Vice Presidential Office in Jamal.


Earlier, Modi was conferred a guard of honor at the Nepali Army Pavilion, Tundikhel. Modi who embarked on his two-day official visit to Nepal from Patna offered a special puja at Janaki Temple this morning before arriving in Kathmandu.

Modi and Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli jointly inaugurated Janakpur-Ayodhya-Janakpur bus service at a program organized in Janakpur.


Modi also received civic felicitation on the occasion. On Saturday morning, Modi will leave for Jomsom where he will pay homage to Muktinath Temple.
