Indian envoy Prasad calls on Deuba

KATHMANDU,Sept 1: Newly-appointed Indian ambassador to Nepal Jayanta Prasad called on Nepali Congress’s senior party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter’s residence in Budhanilkantha on Thursday morning.



At the meeting, the two are said to have dwelt on a range of issues including the progress so far made in the ongoing peace and constitution writing processes and those related to Nepal-India relations. [break]



The Indian envoy has already held meetings UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NC President Sushil Koirala and Senior CPN UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal since he assumed his office just a few days ago.
