KATHMANDU, Aug. 25: The Indian Embassy here has said its attention has been drawn towards certain media reports claiming that Oberthur Technologies has been short-listed for manufacturing e-passports for India, and has said that the news report is factually incorrect.

All passports including MRP and e-Passports for Government of India are manufactured solely by the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd at its Security Press at Nashik, reads a statement by the Embassy.
