KANCHNPUR, May 26: General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, Prakashman Singh, has said that an election government led by Khil Raj Regmi should move ahead as per the four-party consensus.

He said the Regmi-led government was formed by four political parties to hold election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) and the government should create an election environment as per the direction of the four parties.

Singh blamed that constitutional crisis was invited due to the parties, which had joined the Bhattarai-led government.

The NC General Secretary stressed that a written constitution should be brought by holding CA election at the earliest.

Stating CA election should be held for the establishment of political stability and peace, Singh said there was no dispute in his party and it would move ahead united in the CA election.

He suggested an environment should be created for the participation of the agitating 33-political parties in the election through the medium of high-level discussions.
