According to a press release on Monday, Koirala asked all the ministries and project implementing agencies to focus on increasing capital spending and ensuring good governance. Expressing dissatisfaction over low capital spending over the first nine months of the current fiscal year, Koirala said this is the time to put effort on raising capital expenditure.
"The demand for additional budget should come to the finance ministry with a commitment to spend the budget on time," the release added.
