KATHMANDU, July 9: Nepal Students’ Union staged protests at Maitighar Mandala against totalitarian rule of Nepal Communist Party in the country. Of late, the KP Sharma Oli led government has been consistently condemned for its decisions that contradict what it championed for during elections.

Speaking at the federal parliament, on June 29, Oli had urged parliamentarians not to cast any doubt on the government’s commitment to safeguard it. “This democracy wasn’t gifted. When all of us have fought for it, and how can we let it go?”
