KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The Valley Resident Management and Support Struggle Committee displayed the signatures collected from a signature campaign in Basantpur on a 126-meter long cloth and held a peaceful march in order to protect the Bagmati civilization the tourist city, which is on the World Heritage List.
The cloth used in the march is 126 meters long. According to Mahesh Raj Bahracharya, a member of the Valley Resident Management and Support Struggle Committee, there are above 70,000 signatures marked on the 126-meter cloth collected from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. The clothes were placed in different places of these districts and signatures were collected.
