But why stress out when you can free hand-massage your reflexes? On the account of increasing your memory, below are the major acupressure points that you should try out. Remember, it's never too late. The LV3 point
The LV3 on the liver meridian is found on the foot where the big toe and second toe bones meet. I can tell it with my personal experience that it works well for students preparing for exams. Pressing on this point encourages clarity of thought and focus and relieves fatigue. Hold onto this point gently on both the feet for two minutes every day.
Three mile point
This point lies two inches below your kneecap and one centimeter away from the shinbone. Press this point with your first two fingers for five minutes. This pressure point is most effective for relieving knee and joint pain. It also strengthens your mind.
The third eye point
This point can be found directly between the eyebrows where the forehead and bridge of the nose meet. Press this point for three to four minutes while keeping your eyes gently closed. You can try this out anytime during the day or night. While it helps uplift your spirit and clear your mind, it also relieves headaches.
The sun point
This point can be found in the depression of the temples. It helps to improve memory power and relieves headache, dizziness, and in particular, stress. Place two fingers on your temples and apply slight pressure for two minutes. As a migraine patient myself, I have realized that pressing on the sun point greatly relieves the pain.
Gates of consciousness
This point is found below the base of the skull on the hollows. Pressing this point for two to three minutes prevents memory loss, helps to improve your memory, and provide relief from arthritic pain. I strongly recommend everyone to try this point if you aim to improve your concentration power.
