KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Namibia and the Netherlands are facing each other in today’s match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 (2023-2027) series.


The match that kicked off at 9:15 AM is currently underway at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Namibia, currently on a tour of Nepal, initiated their campaign with a victorious start, defeating Nepal in their opening match.


On the other hand, the Netherlands is seeking redemption after a 9-wicket loss to Nepal in their first encounter.


Eight nations, including Nepal, the Netherlands, Namibia, Canada, Oman, Scotland, the UAE, and America, are participating in the League-2 competition.


The International Cricket Council (ICC) has outlined that the top four teams in League-2 will secure their spots in the World Cup qualifiers, while the remaining four nations will have the chance to vie for a spot in the World Cup.
