BHAKTAPUR, Nov 15: Durlabh Thapa, who became a candidate representing the Nepali Congress on behalf of the ruling alliance in Bhaktapur constituency no. 2, has claimed that he will win by a margin of 6,500 votes.

However, when the votes of both municipalities are added, the votes of Nepali Congress are more than those of the UML. In this election, NC got a total of 28,330 votes in both municipal areas.
Thapa said that Congress and Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party (NWPP) have been continuously winning in Bhaktapur constituency no. 2 since the beginning, and this time it is Congress's turn.
