Dressed in a blue pantsuit, wide belt and huge sunglasses, the 30-year-old hotel chain heiress was mobbed by fans and photographers at Mumbai´s international airport before leaving for an upmarket hotel.[break]
"Wow! What a warm welcome into Mumbai. Hundreds of fans and media waiting for me when I landed... I love you India!" Hilton said on the microblogging site Twitter after her arrival.
"So excited! This is going to be an amazing trip!".
Hilton, who is in India to launch the fall and winter designs of her handbags and accessories, was expected to meet many Bollywood actors at a party being hosted for her later on Saturday in Mumbai, India´s entertainment hub.
Before arriving in India, the blonde socialite said in a statement she looked forward to seeing the country,
"I´m excited to meet all of my fans and the amazing Bollywood celebrities," she added.

Hilton, whose visit to India ends on Tuesday, arrived from Istanbul where she had been promoting a footwear collection.
