KATHMANDU, Oct 18: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that he is ready to participate in a ‘live debate’ with Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for an agenda-based debate.
Considering the upcoming Provincial and House of Representatives (HoR) elections, many have suggested on social media that PM Deuba and Chairman Oli should participate in a live debate and Chairman Oli has agreed to that. Posting a status on Facebook on Tuesday afternoon, former PM Oli mentioned that such debates are held in Western countries during elections and said that he is ready for it.

Chairman Oli wrote, “Many friends on social media have requested me to come forward for a ‘live debate’. Most of them have suggested an agenda-based debate between me and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba. During elections, such debates are held in western countries. I am ready for this. Is Deuba ready?”
