Hyundai hands ‘Surveillance Support’ camera to Kaski police

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Laxmi International Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Hyundai Motors in Nepal, has handed over 25 units of Hyundai Traffic Surveillance Support Camera to District Police Office (DPO), Kaski.

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Laxmi International Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Hyundai Motors in Nepal, has handed over 25 units of Hyundai Traffic Surveillance Support Camera to District Police Office (DPO), Kaski.

According to the company, it provided the cameras to DPO Kaski as part of its CSR -- ‘Safe Move’.


Issuing a statement, the company said that Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of Laxmi Group handed the dash cams to Kamal Singh Bam, DIG of DPO Kaski. “The camera can continuously record the view through vehicle’s windscreen and can be attached to the interior windscreen or to the top of the dashboard which may provide evidence in the event of an accident,” statement added.
