KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor of Hyundai cars for Nepal, has announced to sell its entry level hatchback -- EON -- as taxis.

Issuing a press release on Monday, the company said that Hyundai EON D-Lite and D-Lite+ variant of EON will now be available as taxi.
"We have decided to make EON hatchback as taxis considering the present need of public transportation service in Nepal," the company said, adding, "EON hatchback comes with huge boot space, ground clearance of 170mm, maximum power of 56PS, minimum maintenance charge and high mileage," the release added.
