Hollywood Filmmakers set to operate Digital Streaming Workshop at NIFF

Nepal Film and Culture Academy is all set to host a digital streaming workshop titled ‘Film making in an age of Streaming’, in the third edition of Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF), scheduled for February 13 to 17 at City Hall, Kathmandu.

The workshop is going to be conducted by renowned Hollywood filmmakers. According to the director of the film festival, KP Pathak, international film makers like Larry Kasanoff, Zack Stentz, and Jolyon Hoff will lead the workshop.


In the workshop, they will talk about streaming site. A press statement issued by the organizer has further quoted Pathak saying, “All three international filmmakers will share their experiences regarding streaming site. The workshop would be a fruitful event for the writers, producers and directors who have been actively working in Nepali film fraternity.”


The workshop which is divided into different session will be held for a day where Stentz will give a short class about script writing. It will be followed by a discussion session about 'The hurdles of Nepali film promotion in an international market' with Hollywood filmmakers. Nepali film makers like Nischal Basnet, Nakim Uddin and Namrata Shrestha will be also there.
