Talking to media persons following the meeting, Vice-President of the Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Poudel, said, "We are close to an agreement to immediately form a constituency delimitation commission."
Similarly, CPN-UML´s Bhim Rawal said the commission would be formed as per the provision in constitution. The HLPC does not recommend names to the commission but suggests government on this, he added.
According to him, the meeting also discussed on prioritizing the talks with other parties to gear up atmosphere for election. Issues as threshold, number of seats, previous decisions on political appointments were yet to be decided, he said.
The meeting was held under the coordination of CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal.
