KATHMANDU, July 30: Head coach of Nepal’s men’s national football team Abdullah Almutairi has filed a petition against vice-chairman of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Pankaj Bikram Nembang and two journalists.
According to ANFA Spokesperson Kiran Rai, coach Almutairi filed a petition against Nembang and two journalists on Thursday.

Earlier, Coach Almutairi in his social media account had announced to resign from the post of head coach of Nepal’s men’s national football team stating that vice-chairman Nembang has been obstructing his work.
Almutairi in his writ petition has maintained that there is no fault of his in controversy over his smoking in public places and has demanded investigation against two journalists as well.
Meanwhile, the journalists have also filed a petition demanding investigation against Almutairi accusing him of misbehaving with them.
Vice-chairman Nembang has also filed a petition accusing Almutairi of making personal allegations and demanded an inquiry into the case.
