He reminds me of Bob Marley: Lionel Richie

Internet sensation Dibesh Pokharel, stage named Arthur Gunn who made it to Hollywood, through the audition round of 18th season of American Idol, again impressed the judges showcasing the same level of energy in second round titled ‘Hollywood Week’ on Monday.

Internet sensation Dibesh Pokharel, stage named Arthur Gunn who made it to Hollywood, through the audition round of 18th season of American Idol, again impressed the judges showcasing the same level of energy in second round titled ‘Hollywood Week’ on Monday.

 Arthur, 22, who picked singer/songwriter genre, amused the judges and audiences by singing ‘Hard to Handle’ by Black Crowes. All the judges were so delighted with his raw and raspy voice which compelled them to stand up and beg for more.


After his performance, Arthur shared that he had an amazing experience. “It was an amazing experience you know. I totally connected to all the audiences and judges. You know, they were standing and rocking out it and singing along with me and that was great, you know.”


Lionel Richie one of the judges of American Idol was so impressed that he even compared him to legendary singer Bob Marley. “He reminds me of Bob Marley. The spirit that came off that stage! Oh, my god.”


Arthur, who went to the US five years ago, is currently living in Wichita, Kansas.
