Step 1: Collect the flowers you want to dye. You can buy it from a flower shop or cut them from your garden. Roses and carnations are the best to work with.

Step 2: Add some water to a tall glass or Mason jar. Put about 20-30 drop of food coloring into it and stir with a spoon. Don’t compromise on the color since this is what will show up in the petals. You can use different jars for different colors. Since food coloring stains, make sure your workspace is safe.

Step 4: Drop the flower stems into the colored water. Let the flowers remain there for at least 24 hours. Adjust the color and water according to the way the flowers are turning out.

Step 5: After the flowers are dyed, remove them from the glasses or mason jars. Add in some water into a vase or another glass and place in the flowers.
