Hair Styles to Flaunt this Festive Season

Festive season is well underway.  With a few supplies (a normal comb, a rat-tail comb, a few bobby pins and a few hair ties) in hand you can easily do them at home on your own. In the festival days everyone seems so busy that hardly 5-10 minutes are there to sort out the whole hair business; that is why we have chosen only the quick and easy hairstyles.

So without further ado let’s begin.

Voluminous High Bun

This higher, prouder version of a traditional hair bun looks stunning on girls with long hair. To achieve this kind of volume, first, divide your hair into two sections and make a rope braid with both the sections. Overlap the braids to make a bun and you’re good to go!

The color dilemma

A traditional hair bun looks stunning with all kinds of Indian outfits and is one of the most elegant hairstyles. Add oomph to your entire look with this chic and delicate hairdo. Also, if you love adding some floral fun to your hairstyle, there are so many styles you can go for that are apt for the festive season.

Wavy Side-Swept Bun

The side-swept low bun is a modern alternative to the classic bun and is perfect for every occasion. This wavy low bun is giving us major princessy feels and we can’t wait to try it this festive season!

Braided Chignon

If you love braids as well as pretty updos, why not combine the two of them and get an elegant chignon? Start with a french braid down the crown and when you’re done, tie the braid in a bun at the nape of your neck. You can sport this simple hairdo with both traditional and Indo-western outfits as well.

Twist it up

A fusion of modern and traditional hairstyles result in a gorgeous updo, ladies! To get this look, you need to part your hair from the middle and braid a small section from the front on both the sides. Secure your hair in a bun and pin up the two braids as well. You can also take out some strands from just above your ears and twist it to add texture to your hairdo.

Classic Chignon

You can never go wrong with a good old chignon as this style is ever green and looks graceful. Make a deep centre part and collect all the hair in a slightly messy low bun at the nape of your neck, and voila, you’re all set!

The Milkmaid Braid Bun

This beautiful braided bun is a perfect do for all your festive dinners. Make a milkmaid braid and secure it in a braided bun. Pull out a few strands and twist them so that it gives a princess-like feel. What’s not to love about this updo?
